思索の庭は、岐阜市内の町屋を舞台にした複合空間です。入口の土間から奥の中庭へと続く空間は、社会から個人の内面へのグラデーションを体現しています。

Shisaku no Niwa is a multi-layered space within a traditional machiya in Gifu City. Moving from the earthen-floor entrance toward the inner courtyard, the space embodies a gradual transition from the social world to the inner self.

1階には都市と繋がるカフェと小さな古本棚、2階には静かな宿泊空間があります。旅人も、地域の人も、ただ通りすがる人も。ここにくる人それぞれが、自分のペースで思索できる場所であってほしいと思っています。

The ground floor holds a café connected to the city and a small shelf of secondhand books. The upper floor offers a quiet space to sleep. For travellers, locals, and those simply passing through — this is a place where anyone can contemplate at their own pace.
